The following resources should prove useful in examining the area of e-assessment:
Effective Practice with e-Assessment - A JISC effective practice guide which focuses on the institutional practices surrounding e-Assessment including a number of useful case studies from both Further and Higher Education.
JISC website section on e-assessment - In this section of the website, JISC looks at the issues associated with the increasingly complex area of e-assessment. This section also contains links to the JISC e-assessment Glossary and other e-assessment resources and developments including e-portfolios.
Regulatory Principles for e-Assessment - The e-futures website was launched by QCA NI in March 2007 to encourage and support the use of e-assessment in vocational qualifications. Aimed primarily at centres, this website has been designed to provide advice and exemplar material on all aspects of e-assessment. Since its launch the site has been continually updated to reflect the ongoing developments in e-assessment. Users benefit from a video library containing clips of organisations already using e-assessment and a resource section containing downloadable documents supporting its implementation.
JISC InfoNet - This is a useful e-assessment section which is contained in the JISC InfoNet Effective use of Virtual Learning Environments toolkit.
TechDis - TechDis, a JISC Advisory Service specialises in providing guidance on e-learning for learners with disabilities or learning difficulties. The website includes a section examining these isssues in the context of e-assessment.
