Our Services
As a regional centre working on the ground, we work in partnership with a number of 'key contacts' in each College. Typically, these include: ILT Champions, Network Managers/ Technical Officers, Librarian/Learning Resource Managers, Staff Development Officers/Managers and Senior Managers.
Our services include:
- acting as a first point of contact and helping colleges to seek appropriate advice and support on e-learning issues and developments from issues on infrastructure, learning resources, pedagogy and strategy;
- facilitation of a number of peer-peer support forums for ILT Champions, Learning Resources Managers and Network Managers to encourage collaboration and the sharing of good practice;
- delivery of scheduled site visits to college 'key contacts' to provide onsite consultancy, support and identification of further training needs;
- provision of flexible, comprehensive and cost effective staff development training delivered in Colleges and regionally, such as workshops examining integration of ILT in individual subject areas.
We have a Help Desk for inquiries from our College Key Contacts and our Website is a useful resource for all. Furthermore we assist colleges in identifying regional opportunities for collaboration and with colleagues in England, Scotland and Wales via the other RSCs.
